One of a kind treasure
This type of set is one of a kind; Lego has never made anything else like it in almost 20 years. The simple pneumatic system works 90 percent of the time, except for the odd time where the pods get caught in the couplings (just keep the pipes straight to avoid this) It works by itself but can also link up with the Red Planet Protector and Recon Mech RP sets (Hence the name "Hangar"). The included Martians are all unique and haven't appeared in any other theme since. Showed this off to my students last week and all of them were speechless at how cool Lego was back in my day.

Mars Lego Fun
Good set overall. It is a set from the early 2000s and Lego was trying many new designs. Aero tubes themselves were innovative but if the tube is turned just a little too far in any direction, the pods won't move easily. Having fun with it right now and plan on expanding on it!

Great alone, amazing with the other 2 sets.
Great set but to really complete it you need the 2 life on Mars mechs. 1 is sand blue and one is sand red. That connect to the ends of the tubes, as you can tell they match the colors.
