    Beautiful film, great picture and sound quality.

    Beautiful film, great picture and sound quality. It is the full film uncut. There is an informative commentary that isn't on the DVD box set. The disk takes a long time to load. When you pause for study, there is an irritating logo in the lower left of the screen telling what segment and it's composer. I don't need it at all and even if I did, it should go away after a few seconds.

    it's 2hrs 21 mins but the 1st hr. or so it's kinda boring. that's the to say/mention because it's a masterpiece and very inventive, great imagination, so far ahead of it time (considering it was made in 1941, I think)..the thing is.. no matter have many times you remaster the bluray..it's just ok. one things for sure.. fantasia 2000 sux, hands down, they messed up, they should of re created the original artwork, pixar-style, maybe they will 3d it for fantasia 2020.

    This restored classic should be part of every video library!

    I FINALLY decided to get "Fantasia" on disk, as my VHS cassette is long gone--stolen. The "Dance of the Hours" ballet is well worth the price of the disk!

    How do you change what you hear - in this case music - into something that mirrors the music and moves? You make a movie that inspires artists to create scenes that reflect the movie. That's Fantasia; Some runs are purely abstract and others have cartoon characters (including Mickey Mouse) moving/acting and dancing to the music ----in cadence.
