    Great techniques for child rearing

    Having raised three children, I am passing this book on to my grandson to help him and his wife contend with the challenges of a strong willed child. This book reminds parents of how the Lord can help in building strong family relationships during those formative years. These principles continue to be of help in dealing with our adult children and grandchildren. God created family and when He is included in its foundation, the family will flourish.

    A Must for Every Person Who Is Responsible for a Minor.

    I learned many valuable, practical tools that made me a better parent and passed them on to others, giving Dr. Dobson all the credit. I read the book after having 4 children and thinking that one of them had a strong will, he didn't. I have 3 boys and 3 girls, so I was able to see how people in the same environment behave and think differently, through the various stages of early development. Their personalities have changed with age and varied experiences. Certainly parenting will change them if they choose that path and I will be there to give them a copy of this well written, well intended book to help parents be prepared, respond calmly, and enforce accountability with understanding, compassion, and unconditional love.
