  • Fun, detective game for kids 5+

A very interactive game that changes every time you play due to the electronics component. It can run a little long, so recommended for older kids, 5+, because littler kids (like my 4yo) get bored with the longer game play. The materials are quality and the gameplay is very smooth overall. There are also 3 difficulty levels which means the game can 'grow' a bit and should be able to be played for some years without being too easy for older kids. A few of the 'sound bites' during gameplay can be a little confusing to figure out what you should do, but other than that, we've had a lot of fun and play it pretty often, so it should get a lot of use before my kids (4yo & 6 yo) age out of it. One super useful feature is that you can have the game repeat the last set of information and/or instructions if you don't catch what was said - that is so helpful with younger kids who sometimes talk over what the box is saying during gameplay. This was definitely a good purchase for us!
