( Midwest Book Review , 1 September 2014) "This is an easy to read book, which could be dipped in and out of by UK veterinary care assistant students as an addition to the reading list, but it would not replace any of the current texts." • Not that Impressed for a College Textbook

This textbook is required for a local, community college Vet Assistant course. The course is NAVTA approved. One of the book's authors also teaches the program I considered enrolling in. It is basically a two year program, and I read the book in two weeks. It is an ok book -- not the best by any means. I would consider it average. I have bought better books off of eBay on the same subject. Not worth the money if you buy it new from a college bookstore.
