    Lightweight with great features

    works great nice neat soldering, temp control really good to have when doing lead soldering.Nice and easy to handle small and light. Only drawback for me was that I needed a step down transformer to run it because it is set up for use in Japan.

    . For soldering it was not hot enough and to return to Japan is costly and confusing, after waiting for over 2 weeks. Disappointed in product, and I guess you need a $30 thermostat to work properly. I bought a Wellesley 100 watts to finish class..

    I use it with 120 v ac mains and I had to calibrate it because it marked 160 ° instead of 240° in the dial , but it is very easy to calibrate it because it comes with a special screw , just be sure to have a good type k probe and a good calibrated tester as a fluke for example

    Great but fragile

    I really liked the way this worked for two days. The ceramic heater broke on the third day. It solders extremely well so if you get one handle it like it's made of rice paper. If you can make it last it will make your solder joints look like a pro.
