Wonderful book!
In 2012, I had the opportunity to see many of these treasures at the Capitoline Museums in Rome. The Vatican, for the first time in over 400 years, allowed many of them out to a special exhibit there called Lux in arcana. This book brought back many fond memories and I'm glad I purchased it. The reproduction of the Vatican art work was excellent. The major disappointment is that the DVD does not function as it should. It will not sort and distplay the illustrations as they are in the printed book. That is, not my artists or by the "rooms" or by the museums.
