    Great trimmer, but....

    This was a great trimmer once it ran for a while. I gave it four stars because of the difficulty in starting it when it came out of the box. My husband ended up flooding it, but waited a few hours and tried again. He finally got it running and it worked great. He felt it was of a much better quality than our previous trimmer and easy to assemble. Just be patient and you'll love the trimmer.

    Used Product Looked New

    The product was listed as used, but looked brand new when it arrived. It started on the first pull. My only recommendation would be to improve the packaging which was a thin wall corrugated box with no packaging material to cushion the product. The box was damaged in transit, but fortunately there was no damage to the product.

    Rkyobi replacement tank a perfect fit.

    Great Buy For The Price..I took no Pictures of the Unit..

    Well, the Weeder Starts,allright The one and only Negative is when trying to start the Motor the Front string Ravels on the end of the Head.,I guess I will install a Wheel cutter which Works quite well.. There will be Carb, Adjustments, and a Tune up...Other than this This Weeder Will come in Handy next Year, As I have 1 Acre of Land to Trim Weeds.

    Ryobi Trimmer Review

    Trimmer arrived with all the parts included, even though the description stated there was no guard. I had already ordered one, so now I have a spare, The trimmer had some tuning issues at full speed so I had to order a carb adjustment tool and tweaked Hi Speed until it was running right. Hopefully it will take care of the weeds next Spring and for many years to come.

    Runs on any compression!

    Initially gets very high compression, but that is my only concern. Being carburated 2 stroke is a guarantee of multiple pulls before she start screaming. But start procedure with choke set to full - to puke, half - to start and open - to run is repeatable. Durability is great, last head I bought in 2012, it hold up for 8 years. I'm confident if I rebuild the carb it will run for another 8, but the price of new doesn't justify the hussle.
