    Great emergency tool to have to help change a cheap dirty generator so it can be used on sensitive items.

    I use it on one of my small generators to clean the voltage up, whereas I can use it on highly sensitive electrons, such as television, phones and computers. Dirty electrical spike can and will take out an electrical product by burning out the power-supply, cpu, or a motherboard. I would use the LC-1200 in-line on an older LCD or Led television in an emergency situation... I would not hook it us to perhaps a $800.00 Samsung HD television or any other brand new product.

    Tripp-Lite Line Conditioner

    It appears to do something that uninterruptible power supplies don't, correct for high and low line voltages that can damage electronics if the line voltage gets too high or low. I've set up a charging station for phones, tablets, etc and feel like this smallest unit is a good investment as quality electronics continue to rise in price. The proper capacity model of this unit would be good protection for an expensive computer or TV.
