    Great and historical Radio Shack kit

    This kits was designed by Forest Mims for Radio Shack in the 1970s. Mr. Mims is a great force in science education and his hand drawn engineering books have been a mainstay for basic electronics education for many years. The kit is durable and beautifully designed in a way that is both very useful today and evocative of another, simpler time.

    This set is in really great shape!

    I am very pleased with it, I had intended to give it to my great nephew as a birthday present BUT it brought back memories of when I had a Tandy 101 electronics project kit and (I know this may sound a bit selfish but...) i decided to keep it and give him something a bit more modern age instead (he is more into playstation/Xbox and nerf gun types of stuff)!

    LOOKS LIKE IT COULD BE A USEFULL TOOL

    THE UNIT CANNOT BE POWERED UP .THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT IS CORRODED OUT AND USELESS UNTIL IT CAN BE REPAIRED. SELLER STATED "PERFECT CONDITION ". BROKE AND NON FUNCTIONING IS NOT "PERFECT CONDITION ". VERY UNSATISFIED .
