Indispensible aid for identifing M1 Rifle partsi
Great photography! Make it easy to identify by company and vintage what parts are correct for M1's. Nuances difficult to describe in text jump out at you in the pictures. I hope the author plans a supplement with pictures of additional parts, e.g. sight covers. I will b first in line for a copy.

Helpful, but disappointing!
Disappointed in the clarity of photos. Pointer arrows should have been used to indicate areas being discussed in text. Hard to follow layout of progression of parts manufacturing, does not start at beginning of production and move forward. A helpful book, but not the ultimate book of the garand!

Well done work that is a labor of love to fill gaps in other books on the M-1 Garand.
Well organized and informative work. My only recommendation would be to highlight in the photos specific examples of difference in the various iteration of the various parts. This is especially important to those readers not fully familiar with the terms.
