Well worth wearing
I had a pair of sunglasses style over glasses from the same people and they were excellent for wearing when riding my bike. Now it is dark at night I thought I would try these yellow tinted ones. They make a big difference in reducing glare from on coming cars, but the reduction in visibility due to the tint is almost un-noticeable. They fit well over my glasses and also keep the wind and muck out of my eyes - what more could you want. I have also had a pair from another supplier that were much cheaper - but the lenses were not as nice and the arm broke within a few days, so I think it is definitely worth the extra for these. I ordered a pair of these glasses for myself last year but can't remember who from, but they are brilliant so recommended them to a friend. When I asked how she got on with them she just said OK but couldn't see much difference so I tried them & there wasn't. I offered to return them but she didn't want to bother me saying it wasn't much to lose anyway as they weren't expensive ( she is fairly well-off) but that's not the point. Reduces glare from headlights.
I decided to pay a little more than some of the cheaper products and I think it was worth it. They certainly reduce the glare of headlights, especially full beam. This is one of the main reasons my wife was nervous of night driving, so she hopes to regain her confidence with these. The only negative I have is that they are a bit snug over my glasses - rubbing against the sides - but I'll get used to it. Shall order another pair for a friend.I decided to pay a little more than some of the cheaper products and I think it was worth it. I can't drive without them
This is my third pair because the stem keeps breaking at the narrowest point. The anti-glare is good and I use this day and night over my prescription glasses. I observed that over time the anti-glare coating diminishes, but that's expected at this price point.
