If you have decent form in your strokes, the accuracy of this watch is scary good. however, If you have poor form the accuracy will be a tad off.

This watch was faulty from the start and I am quite upset with this purchase. The watch leaked after second swim. After my first swim, I noticed a bit of condensation, but no problem with functionality. After my second swim, it was a bit more obvious, and during the third one, it started to malfunction. At first it just kept resetting, asking me if I wanted to "save" "delete" or "continue" tho I was in the middle of my swim. Then it froze (the screen froze, I mean). And finally, it went black. Now it is simply blank. I had a Garmin Swim for several years and loved it. I would have bought another one new, if Garmin still made them, but they do not. I was really hoping not to have to buy a Garmin Swim 2, because frankly I don't want a watch full of apps, sleep monitoring, etc. I just want a good watch to track only my swims. Read full review

I swim longer intervals and this watch helps me focus on form and effort vs keeping track of laps and times.

This watch is purposely design for swimming and it has leaked since the first swim, which causes the screen to fog up. Was not a good purchase.
