    Check Engine

    After changing the spider(fuel injector),camshaft sensor Got this crankshaft sensor And all problems went away, check engine off(almost 200,000) miles on the clock. Works Great! Thanks

    Chevy 4.3L issue (READ if replacing timing cover)

    I replaced the timing cover on an astro van (4.3L). The crank sensor stopped working Upon reinstall. I got this one because it's much cheaper then the $80 NAPA one. The engine starts and runs but, I get a "manufacture control" code and "random cylinder misfire" code. Unknown if this part is the culprit, I replaced ignition parts at the same time. So I buy the NAPA crank sensor. It doesn't start. Turns out, the O-ring is too thick on the OEM and NAPA crank sensors to fit in far enough in the new NAPA timing cover. The O-ring is thinner on this part. I swapped the O-ring onto the NAPA part and it works now. The problem with the thinner o-ring is, oil leaks past. I have yet to find a solution. This part served a purpose, it let me know I threw away an expensive sensor because of an undersized ...

    Knockoff

    This item was not the exact fit that the engine didn't run. I had to buy one from a parts dealer and it fit perfectly. The engine started right up. I guess some things you can't go cheap on.
