It is very comfortable, however if you are using the mouse in a business setting inputting info on a customer etc. you have to be careful about the placement of your thumb due to the buttons on the side. I have accidently pressed the left back button on the side of the mouse and lost everything I had just entered on the screen. Not a good customer experience. You need to get used to your thumb's placement

I have had one of the older ones for many years and loved it. This new one has lost all the good features the old one had. I find that just because you hear a click on the left button doesn't mean it sent a signal to your pc and you will have to click it harder. The back and forward buttons are much smaller than the older one and harder to make them work because of where they are placed. I wish they would leave some things alone that work well. If it is a good product, why do they feel the need to change it?

It is a very good mouse. The buttons can be customized via the software. It clearly states that this is for Win 7 or earlier. My mistake. I have Win 10. The basic buttons function normally but the software will not load on Win 10.

I've used this mouse for many years on my Windows 7 computer, and since I have environmental factors that cause me to replace mice frequency, I buy several at a time. However, today I tried it on Windows 10, and discovered that HP doesn't have Win 10 drivers, and Microsoft's default driver has the extra buttons locked to browser-back and browser-forward, which are actively disruptive to me given what my hand expects from the buttons.
