Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Microphone Holders & Stands
I play the keys and sing back-up vocals. My microphone boom is mounted onto my keyboard stand. In the past my sound guy had to turn down the bass EQ because the microphone was picking up vibrations from the stand (I have verified that it was the actual vibrations, not the sound of keys being pressed) causing a low end noise. So I found this thing for $2.50 and thought: "whatever, it's $2.50, even if it doesn't work, it's not much risk". I'm glad I got it. It has a standard 5/8" thread so it mounted on the boom just fine. The o-rings holding the mic seem durable and are stretchy and firm enough to allow a Shure SM58 to slide right in, and stay in even when this mount is pointed somewhat downwards. And that low end buzz from the vibrations is completely gone. The best way to spend $2.50 on music gear.Read full review

Not quite studio quality but close; and for the price, this is an excellent buy. If you don't stomp your foot really hard near the mic stand, the medium shock suspension will suffice. Extra rubber supports are included. This is product is useful in any studio for pencil microphones, 3/4" up to 1" diameter.

Nice shock mount it is able to carry our large shotguns with ease. They send extra rubber bands with it but I haven't have to replace any on any of them after a year of constant use.

Suoer cheap but sturdy. I use it for a podcast and it eliminates table/keyboard noise.

Very cheaply made the pictured brass threaded connector is - in fact - just plastic which will wobble and wear quickly. You do get what you pay for this would be acceptable for one or two uses.
