I am a podcaster and I use these during the show. These headphones are high quality as far as this price range goes. I've had better in a professional studio, but If you want comfortable, lightweight, quality audio monitors, at a low price, these are a good choice.

The sound quality is much worse compared to the same model I bought at Walmart 6-7 years ago for $20. In fact, the sound is so different that it feels like you are listening to mono rather than stereo. The reason I was going after this particular set, because it's hard to find a pair of headphones with a longer 2m cord. I ended up taking the frail parts from the two of these pairs I purchased and used them to fix the ear pads and the head band on my old, better sounding MDR-V150. I wouldn't recommend buying them unless you don't care about the sound quality.

Well first off, these aren't Sony, they're knockoffs. They look and feel really cheap. The audio isn't very good, so don't bother going to other sites and looking up reviews of Sony MDR V150, because this isn't it. This is the equivalent of those cheapie Coby headphones you buy on the corner for a fiver because you can't be bothered to buy a decent pair of headphones and in a rush to go home because your headphones just broke. If you're looking for Sony MDR-V150, DONT BUY THIS If you're looking for some studio entry headphones-DONT BUY THIS If you're looking for a good headphones with good audio quality-DONT BUY THIS If you just want a cheap headphone to just listen to some music and don't much care then buy this. But really you should just shop around for a better pair of headphones...I wish I had. On a positive note it came pretty fast.Read full review

I like these headphones for their, comfort, light weight and good fit. I have better sounding, much more expensive headphones but I use these at times when i'm not seeking perfection. They're great as a back up. Good lows and crisp highs. They have a superior quality cord not found on most headsets in this price range.

These are an inexpensive set of fairly good quality Sony headphones. They work well with my Sony products and on my Behringer Xenyx audio mixer the volume control cannot be set at much more than 9 or 10:00 without becoming uncomfortably loud. I can wear them for hours comfortably during late-night college study sessions so as not to disturb my housemates' slumber. The ear cushions have shown no sign of deterioration, but as time goes on, we will have to watch that. I think these headphones would be ideal for a low-budget recording studio, as starter units.
