    So far so good UPDATE

    Install is very easy. The inline resistors work I have no flicker, they are very bright but I have no way of knowing wether they are brighter than a halogen, I have yet to run them at night, I do intend to keep the original bulbs in the package the LEDs came in in the trunk as a backup. Additionally be sure to use some Dielectric grease on your connections. My sets work correctly and fit in the spaces on the housing, the “ears” on the bulbs that cam into the housing are plastic, which is normal, and are quite substantial, the cam into the housing correctly and tightly so I have no worries about them coming loose. UPDATE- been using these headlights for a week now and I’ve had no problems whatsoever, they cast a quite substantial light and I’ll say they are at least 40% brighter than stock ...

    Direct fit 04 Silverado?

    Not exactly direct fit. I had to cut relief holes in the headlight bracket behind both low beam bulbs because when the headlight assembly was installed they hit the bracket. Also the high beam bulbs fit somewhat loose in the assembly and wanted to rotate. The assemblies are brand new and to verify it wasn’t a problem with it so I installed a standard headlight bulb and it fit perfectly. The rotating issue is avoidable of you can get it clocked so the wire points downward. These are fairly inexpensive bulbs so I didn’t expect them to be perfect. On the positive side. They are nice and bright, I haven’t noticed any flickering. I can’t comment on durability because they haven’t been installed very long. But for just over $30 they seem ok.
