A fabulous piece of work by Crosby. Do not underestimate what this guy can STILL produce after all of these years ! Beautiful voice and a very, very competent cadre of musicians to back him up. He is still an excellent acoustic guitarist and contributes substantially on his Martin D-45 on this album. You will not be disappointed !

David Crosby is one of my favorite musicians and song writers. I saw him perform this album live in concert at The Troubadour club, L.A. on YouTube and was so impressed with the songs that I wanted to own the CD so I could listen to it on my stereo system while doing my thing in the kitchen, making oatmeal cookies, pies or other culinary works. Took a bit of searching to find a retailer who had the album, maybe because it's from 2014. I found a few who were charging lots of $$, maybe because of the vintage status, but luckily came across this one at a reasonable price. Crosby's band, which includes his son, James Raymond, are excellent on this album and if you really want to appreciate the genius performances I recommend listening on headphones.

This album by David Crosby is worth adding to ones collection and listening to, whenever nostalgia for the old songs comes along. It sounds like the young Crosby but I suppose one yearns for the music of the good old '60's and early '70's , and this one is not.

If you're a fan of David Crosby, this is a must-own. I first became a fan of his (as well as the other Byrds) at age 13, and have grown up with his music at every stage of life, now into "elderhood." What's remarkable is that Crosby's songs and voice are better than ever, approaching true wisdom and maturity. Amazing.
