I’m still trying to get my hands on a disc. The one I have I wasn’t able to watch. Not sure why. Sounds like it is working, it turns on with the laptop. I’ll know more when I get a DVD or disc

The unit works well when its powered buy a good USB port. It appears that it cna vary machine to machine a work around is to use a usb to AC and then it has enought power. But using the same machine for data and power seems to be hit and miss. Seems to owrk well on XP and up. The unit operates as it should and when there is enough power its great . The fact that it varies how it is powered makes it ok. As there may not always be a reachable AC and then that would add to needinga usb extention. I found that you can make it work as it should with the AC adapter ( not included when needed) But best I can give is 3 stars as use can vary.

Mine worked fine. It comes with two connection cords. I'm not familiar with names of different cords, but the thicker, more complicated one worked fine. The basic USB cord didn't. I have a Mac, and I assume one cord is for Mac, the other for PC. I wondered about spending twice as much for a Mac-specific one, but for the few times I use this, I'm happy with the result.

This will not automatically play on Windows 10. You find a driver for it. MicroSoft wants $20 for their driver I eventually found a free one that will work. It works perfectly on Windows 7 a true Plug & Play. Nice compact little play for less than $12
