Teles are almost perfect. The design hasn't changed much since day one. Playing them with the original bridge saddles, however, limited you to playing slightly out of tune, as perfect intonation was impossible to achieve. Modern individual saddles will fix that problem, but for those that love the look of the original Tele, and think (as I do) that the brass added enough to the sound of a Tele to warrent something different, these saddles are just the thing. With these saddles, intonation improves dramatically, the tone is excellent, and they even age in a way that screams 50's Fender.

Months of fighting intonation problems with my guitar disappeared after switching to these Wilkinson saddles. They were easy to put on and the guitar has stayed in tune ever since. Amazing!

gives a 3 saddle telecaster type guitar much better intonation while retaining stock looks. by the 15th fret the stock 3 saddle bridge sounds noticeably off-tune no matter how good setup is. the best solution is a 6 saddle bridge, but this is a good compromise that should satisfy most guitarists. it's obviously easy to remove and put back to stock if you want to sell or trade the guitar one day.
