    Was able to drill and tap 20mm down into aluminium and stack two coils one above the other making a stronger fixing than original. Take care measuring because the inserts get slightly longer when installed. Good around transaction, thank you

    Brilliant , complete kit - all you need

    This is a complete kit , including the correct drill for the oversize tap and several coils. If the thread is stripped on the original fixing - happy days, just drill away the damage , if there's a sheared bolt , make sure the stud/bolt is pilot drilled through the centre ACCURATELY !! , then use the drill supplied. I used this kit on a Briggs and Stratton ride on mower exhaust , as 1 x bolt sheared , the other ripped out the threads from the cylinder head on removal , a much cheaper alternative than removing the head for remedial work. Brilliant kit

    AVOID !!!! Really Poor Quality

    Avoid at all Costs!!! tool made out of very poor quality. used it to rethread my Camera tripod, the tool ( hook shaped ) that you would use to install the new thread snapped inside the camera, couldn't take it out and broke the whole mount base out and had to be replaced. Just invest in good quality product and avoid this one if you care for what you are fixing.

    Does the job well

    Only used on aluminium but drill is nice and sharp plus it does NOT pull into the work. Tap cuts well and helicoil inserts are easy to use though only short ones are supplied with the kit..
