- 2***1 (128)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseOur wood stove pipe runs straight up and out with no bends to help reclaim heat. We bought 2 sets of these, etched the metal bands with water, vinegar and a wet sanding sponge then painted them with high temp black spray paint. Installed them offset and staggered . Living room seems to heat faster now. Also added a small metal fan for more air flow. Even without the fan these are a good, stand alone way to get some more heat out of the stack.
