Really not bad - excessive packging
I got an e-mail asking for my opinion of this item after I bought one. The product is pretty good, better than most. I've tried a few brands now and this one scores very well in comparison with them. Good flatness, nice materials, connects quite easily. Looks very good. Carries the rolling stock like no other. However it has the highest cost of ownership as, if you need 1 section, you are required to purchase 8 of them. Some of those brands which I tried insist on 4, so only half the problem, and another lists single items as being available. Sometimes 8 is fine in one go, but other times it is not. So it's not always able to offer good value in every situation sadly. The packaging is smart, but somewhat over fussy. Certainly not very planet friendly. If asked directly then I'd offer ...
