Overall the tool is pretty much as expected. It is designed well and seems well made except the threaded screw is a little curved. It wobbles slightly as it is turned. I haven’t used it yet but it should work for me. Having bought two other types of spring compressors one of which wouldn’t work at all and another that was poorly designed and somewhat dangerous I am hopeful this one will work. I only wish I had bought this one first.

Accroi la sécurité lors du montage et du démontage des ressorts de suspension. Outillage bien pensé. Quelques photos de la mise en place de l'outil faciliteraient son utilisation. Fait le job! Increases safety when mounting and dismounting suspension springs. Well thought out tooling. A few pictures of the tool’s implementation would facilitate its use. Does the job!

  • This tool works!

This coil spring compressing tool is just the thing if you own a car with front shock towers, ( like Ford and Mercury) with the coil spring just below the tower and sits above the upper control arm! I used my Makita 1/4" impact gun with a 3/8" adapter for the socket and it had enough grunt to wind the spring up until the spring was released from its perch on the upper control arm.

The spring slipped on me once because I didn't put it on properly, although the second go around I had a spring compressed a little extra than I needed with no worries. Stress tested it real good.

  • Perfect Spring Compressor

Excellent and very helpful tool. Great price. High quality and durability. With his help I easily replaced the wishbone springs in my Toyota Sienna.
