A Song for You is one of the Carpenters very best studio albums. Karen Carpenter's voice is like that of an angel's. I have decided to buy every single studio album by the Carpenters, (in CD form). Karen Carpenter is my ALL-TIME favorite female vocalist. With Richard Carpenter, and great studio musicians backing her up, the music of the Carpenters is the very best "Soft Rock" or "Easy Listening" music you'll ever have the pleasure of hearing. Songs were exactly as I remembered from the 70's.
It was exactly what I wanted. It took me back to the 70's and that was a great time in my life. No one has an angelic voice like Karen Carpenter. Her death was so tragic. So much talent and now it is silent.

I bought this cd because I heard the title cut at Starbucks one evening and hadn't heard this song in many years. Karen had such an angelic voice, she is missed so much!
