Solved my oil leak problem
My Scotts L2048 (John Deere L130 clone) Briggs & Stratton 20hp Intek sprung an oil leak - slow at first, then it became a steady leak. This solved the problem. I also replaced the crank shaft seal at the same time. There's a great youtube video on how to do the replacement. The guy is a little wacky, but his technique and tips are excellent. OEM part perofms as expected
You can cut corners, but nothing aside of an improved OEM part is right if you want the job done correctly. The included NEW bolts with locking compound is a must on these and all small engines. I've thrown away more engine blocks where back yard mechanics ignore critical steps, one of which is clean mating surfaces and NEW OEM Gaskets and Crank Case Bolts with approved thread locker. B&S Sump Gasket Set

Good material just not sure why all the bolt holes were not punched.
Gasket fit just fine. But one of the bolt holes was not punched out. Of coarse I didn’t realize till I was installing that bolt. Had to remove the lower unit again and punch out the hole. And for this I didn’t give it a 5. But it did fix the oil leak.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The only problem with the gasket was that one hole was not punch out. It was very inconvient to stop the job to look for a hole punch and make sure it was punched in the correct location so there would be no twisting or misalignment.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
