Most heart wrenching book.........if you don't cry........ John Mathew story is continued, tohrment and wellsie would make great parents. You don't see much of butch in this one, but he does come on stage at the end. You don't see much of wrath either, but that's ok. Sometimes i think that scribe virgin is a very cruel person. my one pet peeve again, i think i've said it over 100 times, i hate the I have to break ... Well, I had my heart broken several times reading this book and cried through most of it but could not put it down. Rhage is unbelievably beautiful and has always had women throwing themselves at him. He fights an inner dragon and has used sexual release to wear down how often he changes form as he considers himself a monster. When he meets Mary who is dying, he falls in love but his past sexual life and inner monster make him feel he needs sexual release from others to keep from harming her. You will be as jealous as Mary and torn as Rhage as you follow them through her cancer and his inner battles. Laugh Out Loud & Then Cry ~ What a Wonderful Book! OMG
Lover Eternal was a Great Book! This is the 2nd book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series & I love this one as much as the first one! I laughed out loud & I cried too! This book tells the story of Rhage and the curse he carries and his romance with Mary Luce. What a story! This is a MUST read Read! It's Absolutely Wonderful! J.R.Ward can really run you through the emotional wringer with her tales of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. Her stories enthrall, captivate, and entertain like no other in the vampire genre. These studly warriors are not the typical undead (which they are not). Ward provides another branch on the homosapien tree for her characters. In Lover Eternal we get to know Rhage and his internal (eternal) buddy and the profound love they both have for mortal Mary who is dying from an all too real disease.
