      Not for squire jazz bass

      I've been using tusq in all my guitars and basses. They are great. What's not great is that I got the slotted jazz nut to fit into my squire jazz and the string spacing was far wider than the stock. So I bought a slab and filed away until it matched the original.

      This isn’t a review is a question will the grooves on this bass nut fit thicker string gauges? Like 65-80-100-130

      The nut on my Yamaha TRBX147EW broke when I was putting some Ernie ball Beefy Slinky strings on and I noticed there gauges didn’t fit in the slots on the nut as well because they were to thick can I buy one that thickness or would I have to get it filed down?
