    First, the good: It's a nice-looking set and comes in an unexpectedly nice wooden box. Now the bad: These are supposed to be wooden pieces, but they look and feel like imitation wood. They remind me of fiberglass doors that have a wood look. They are adequately weighted, but I would prefer a little more weight to them. And the worst: These are tournament regulation size and shaped pieces, however they lack the extra queens for both colors required to be used in tournaments.

    Nice Set, but only one queen per color

    Pretty nice set. How durable it is remains to be seen. It is single-weighted, but heavy enough to use. The wooden box for the pieces is a bonus. The only negative for me was that this set only comes with one Queen for each side, and current tournament rules require 2 for each side. So, I wouldn't really call this a "tournament" set. Good enough for my analysis board or for casual play, however.

    Excellent Size for Chess Practice and Tournaments

    This is just what my husband wanted. He's happy with the size and weight of the pieces and plans to bring them to future chess tournaments. Right now, they look great on a wooden chess board.

    Good set and box for the price

    This chess set and box are a nice value for the price. It's a decent budget wood chess set, with a storage box. I'm using the box for another set, which needed a box. (Chess boxes tend to run expensive!) But for someone looking for a nice budget set and box, this is a nice package.

    It's an okay set a knockoff to anything House of Staunton sale. Be okay children to learn the game. I would not take it to a tournament
