It comes with extra washers/O-rings that I didn't need for my engine, so I assume the kit is used on multiple engines and that's normal. My engine is a 2014 Mercury 60HP ELPT 4-stroke outboard with the 1.83:1 gear ratio. This kit is NOT for the Command Thrust gear cases. Also, even though this is a water pump kit, in included the three yellow seals for the gear lube fittings. Very nice addition.
