I needed to downloaded instructions from the factory website - It works as described, though needed to troubleshoot the passcode for the wi-fi, as one was blacked out and the other didn t work. The blacked-out code worked after several attempts and some nasty words :-)Now everyone is happy with quick wi-fi, the extended range, and presently no dropouts. As an added bonus, the cloning process is acting like a mesh system? Happy days

I can strongly recommend this e-bayer. The issue I had is with the manufacturer, Netgear, whose online and app-specific instructions regarding incorporation of this item into my home network were inaccurate and nearly caused me to send it back. At no point did they mention that I should connect the Orbi satellite to the Orbi router using an ethernet cable, which turned out to be the key step!
