Best football game on the market.
First of all, i bought it because i liked football both playing it on the fields and as a game. In my experience with both Pro evolution for more years than fifa, i think fifa is way better than pro evolution due to the gameplay and how realistic it is as a game to real life. Fifa 11 has some mistakes with the gameplay like the defenders are really useless at times and dont defend at all, players randomly run into each other for no reason and the referee interfers with the ball a lot especially when your planning a attack and the referee just stops the ball. After years of toying with the idea, I finally decided to buy a football game, and upon the recommendation of many I tried FIFA. Long story short, FIFA is an excellent football game. It's easy to pick up, yet very challenging on tougher difficulties. Plus, it's ridiculously addictive, and you'll waste hours of your life playing through it. Undoubtedly the best feature is Career Mode. In Career Mode, you can play through over 15 seasons as a player, a manager, or even a player/manager! The most enjoyable way to experience Career Mode is to start off small, and then slowly build your way up the ranks until every top-class team across Europe is hounding you to join them. The graphics are very realistic. The players actually look like their real-life selves (except for Laurent Koscielny, ... Unfortunately, most of the songs featured on the soundtrack are, quite frankly, rubbish. Thankfully, you can turn the ones you don't like off, and also import your own songs into the game, provided you have set up your PS3'S online capabilities. The commentary can sometimes get annoying, too, although that's remedied by switching to a different language that you don't understand. The controls, as previously mentioned, are easy to pick up, and the gameplay is simple - bog standard stuff to anyone who watches football (I'd imagine it's pretty much a given if you're playing this game). Most of the players' abilities reflect their real life attributes. Ok, so maybe Marouane Chamakh and Sebastien Squillaci are significantly less rubbish here than they are in real life, but it's all water under a bridge. The multiplayer is also enjoyable. For a great night in, buy a few beers,invite a few of your mates around, and play each other on FIFA. It's also great to play people online, although it can also get a little boring as most people seem to choose Barcelona, Real Madrid, or Inter Milan. At the end of the day, this is an excellent, addictive title that any football fan should pick up. Here's hoping FIFA 12 is even better.

An 8 year old footie fanatic's flippin fantastic fun!
Bought this for my 8 year old son who was already an avid Fifa 10 player. It took him a little while to adjust to the slightly different style of playing?(don't have any personal experience as I can't work the PS3 controller....give me a Wii anyday ;) ) He loves it now, but as a pretty good in real life goalie, he says playing Goalie is too difficult! That's about it.

Realistic and quick soccer game.
I always was a fan of soccer video games and usually i play pro evolution soccer (pes) but i decided to change to fifa just for a change. I won't regreat it, the game is interesting, harder, quicker and has better carrer mode which i like the most. So being a newcomer in fifa i must say that is a great soccer game.
