    Good product great price

    This is about the right shape and size for daily carry in the outdoors world. It is fairly well made of very good quality materials, and due to full tang construction will stand up well to daily use for a very long time until completely worn out, which thankfully due to heavy blade construction (about 3/16 inch thick) will be a fairly long time. It is hollow ground and the scales are of tough material well fastened with brass rivets. The shape of the blade lends itself to a variety of tasks rather than simply being relegated to being used as a skinner or for chopping chores only. It is well suited to slicing and dicing and tough enough for splitting kindling. Its size is conducive to being included as a daily carry for camping hunting farming or other household and work environment ...

    Garbage

    China Garbage total garbage. Not a full tang knife, it’s two pieces spot welded together. Plastic junk handle. It’s a shame, Old Timer used to be a great American company with quality knifes. I will never ever buy another product that they make ever. Do your self a favor and buy something else!!!

    well balanced, functional, and pleasant to look at

    Its just as described, sharp, and beautiful. There are a few small scratches on the handle, but nothing you would notice right away. As you can see, the curve is somewhat unique but I like it a lot. Overall, a very nice knife that I enjoy owning.

    Bert value in a hunting knife

    Beautiful knife, the shape is very conducive for skinning and boning. Strong back but not too thick for handling. Haven't sharpenedyet but expect it to hold an edge and re-sharpen well.

    Schrade Mountain Lion 160OT knife with Holster case

    I have owned several Old Timer Brand knives/knifes, as well as other manufactures and custom mades over the years. This one is a great value for the money, has a good feel to it, and a nice sharp edge to the blade. The holster appears to be cheap/cheesey, time will tell? It could stand to have a little bit longer knife tie down, as it is difficult to snap down with one hand while attached to your belt, hopefully it doesn't break before it wears in? Time will tell? It will be put to great use during hunting season. All in all, at the end of the day, for the money, I would buy another of one of these knifes! Glad to see they are still in Business!
