    Good for HFT

    Best to have a spring rated scope on a springer air rifle! I put this on an Air Arms Prosport in 5.5mm (.22) which needed servicing according to other shooters at a field target club. New spring and main seal later it is now much smoother without the massive twang and recoil when scope first fitted. So scope now should have an easier life! I am interested in Hunter Field Target so only up to 45 yards and occasional rat at much closer range in our small garden. I can still get a decent sight picture for all targets leaving scope on 7x and parallaxed at 25 yards. Just the job for HFT.

    Hawke Airmax 2-7x32AO/AMX, the next level...

    Looking for something variable but not to cumbersome, excellent glass, excellent reticle, not the cheapest scope I've ever owned but nowhere near as expensive as some, the turrets are firm and tight (maybe a little too tight in the case of the windage one) mag and AO rings are both smooth to rotate, the distance markings on the AO ring seem to be a little out but they were always going to be with a max mag setting of 7x, if you want more ranging accuracy then you'll need higher mag, the reticle is quite fine which may not suit some situations, springer rated too which is why I opted for this particular scope as it's going on an airgun... So far proving to be worth every penny I paid for it, lifetime (10yr) warranty too and from a company (Deben industries) that takes its reputation and ...

    Great value baseline scope

    Great scope for a good price. Quite a simple scope but great for my HW 50 air rifle as I didn’t want to overscope it. Very clear reticule and good range of adjustment on eyepiece. Good Hawke quality and value.
