    Fantastic Value travel rod

    This is the second I have bought as I lost the tip section and needed one for a Caribbean holiday. Matched to a Shimano baitrunner this rod dealt with casting a 2 ounce lead with feathers for bait, livebaiting off a small boat for Barracuda, Mahi Mahi and Tuna and deep trolling for kingfish. In the UK it has been used for Bass fishing of the rocks and river roving for Pike on the Wye. The action is nice and tippy with loads of reserve power lower in the blank and quality of fittings are good. Re badge it to a more prestigious name and it would easily be double the price. Only downside is it doesn't come in a travel tube

    Won’t be disappointed

    Cracking rod for the money. Nearly as good as my Daiwa powermesh for lure work. A third of the price and it wouldn’t fit in my suitcase either. Quite stiff at the tip but does have a through action under pressure. Using mine for bass on surface poppers in Portugal as I write. Fits in my rucksack for dangerous cliff/beach access. I own dozens of high end rods and I may even find a use for this fishing at home. It could be used for carp fishing surface baits, roving for pike or touch legering for barbel on smaller rivers. Really needs a protective rod tube for trips abroad but the rod itself is outstanding, regardless of the low price.

    Great rod

    Cracking rod for the money . Iv used it sea fishing easily handled 4oz leads and any size lures. Could also use for float fishing or for carp . I now keep it in my van for stalking carp .

    Nice quality rod. Easy to transport

    Nicely made rod. I was amazed at how far this rod can flick out a 20g lure. This compact rod is easy to transport on the rear of a motorcycle.
