    If your looking for encouragement and hope from a straight shooting American icon that also had a very difficult childhood, then this is the book!👍

    Best Book and great ending to a very hard life, and true life story of an American icon! ..Steve McQueen .. Born in 1930, and died at the young age of 50 of mesothelioma in 1980.. But he lived a lot of life before then .. And found True meaning and purpose 3 months before he was diagnosed with his terminal illness! .. Great book!.. I can recommend it highly! ..👍

    God's grace trumps the trauma on your life

    Being a baby boomer, I remember fondly Steve McQueen from his TV show, Wanted Dead or Alive, and all of his movies. He was the king of cool. I recalled that has had a Christian conversion prior to his untimely death and wanted to find out more, Greg Laurie writes a compelling story where he transverses America in his personal Bullitt Mustang to discover the story of Steve McQueen's life. Interestingly Laurie's own life has many parallels to McQueen's. He draws many points of how God's grace delivered McQueen out of his life's trauma to salvation. An excellent read. God's grace trumps the trauma on your life.

    Understanding the other side of Steve Mcqueen
