Glenda June Singer and Songwriter Into Desire I remember as a small child my father hearing me sing and then coxing me onto stage when we were on holiday to sing old 50's and 60's classic songs. Even when I didn't know was going to sing. 'Into Desire' is dedicated to my late dad. As a child I would perform secretly to my mom's old 78 rpm records 33 1/2 rpm and 45 rpm singles. As a teenager I couldn't live without singing and practicing to songs till my parent's came home. I always sang in secret. One day I decided I loved music and singing and was playing the guitar and piano with loving care. I began auditioning for school performances. I landed solo parts that helped me get over my shyness. I began vocal lessons, it helped project my voice and sing classically which challenged my vocal chords to four octaves (on a good day.) I began to write and perform my own tunes at local venues. I started a band and we weren't too bad starting out. But I kept on and moving on. I changed bands; bands would ask me to join their bands. I would always progress and would not be left behind. I knew I had to train for performances. So for a 6 week summer term I enrolled in the Guildhall School of Performing Arts. Now I can dance and sing at the same time. It helps. Now to my CD 'Into Desire' it an intimate account of years gone by. They are very passionate songs about love, desire, pain of the heart, but powerful and strong to give, not just yourself, but everyone you know. I am proud of this album and have had many fabulous comments that I treasure, and will treasure forever. I thank you for reading this potted history of me. I hope you enjoy my songs all written and performed by me and hope you loved it like I still love every moment of the album. Thank you. Glenda June.
