My experience was positive -- vintage item at a reasonable price -- but also a learning experience. The seller mentioned a recent cleaning and recommended additional cleaning. Only when I did receive the collectible did I realize that there is a powdery residue of some sort on the item. In one close-up photo this residue is visible, but I did not discern the residue beforehand. Hence, I would agree with the seller that additional cleaning is adviseable in this case!

The ring and box are beautiful. My only issue is the way it was shipped. $30.70 was charged for shipping and it seems as though the majority of that was kept by the seller. He also didn't provide insurance or signature as stated. Fortunately my item arrived safe and wasn't stolen. I live in New York. For the money I expected better.

    Looks great, but unfortunately it won't keep time.

    It is not 42mm, the diameter of the case is 37mms and looses time every day. I will try a new battery.
