This is the coolest little stove that I have ever seen! Removing the blue film is easy if you use some tweezers and tape. Lift up all the film surrounding the rivet, stretch to open up the hole in the film, push the rivet fom the inside to lift it slightly, then the film comes out from under the rivet easily in one piece. Tape removes film from hinges too. Only takes 15 minutes!

It is folded inside the seams and hinges so you CANNOT remove it all! No need to even have the film whatsoever. It's stainless! Plan on an afternoon to try and pick as much as you can off of it. Maybe throw it in a fire and burn it off. Otherwise a very good stove and well made.
