It is easy to install this kit. There is just some care required in removing the old caps and changing the setup from the screw-in to soldered-in. Not difficult at all, just requires some minor attention to detail. One of my existing caps was clearly bad, not to the catastrophic failure point but with some bulging on one end and not reading 9K uf anymore. Clearly old and worn out. The new cap array is noticeably better. I refreshed all the other electrolytics as well to make my TFM-42 like new.
