This buckle has a potential flaw: The female (Left of picture) only has one entry point. I had to double over the strap so that it would hold. the tension is generated by pulling the male chord (Right of picture). However, in my case it doesn't matter, as I only use the rucksack for cycling and this buckle will help secure the bag on my back.

The buckles are all good, new and as advertised. Loose packed. A zip lock inside would be nice but that’s just personal convenience after unpacking. The curve contour is just the upper surface not the underside. Not a huge deal and still perfectly serviceable. Seem good quality and still does the job. I did assume the whole item was contoured but they’re still worth the purchase. Arrived nice a quickly than you.
