    Gibbons strollin

    Somewhere down the line I lost this album and in a melancholy moment, sought it out on E-bay. Aside from the fact that the album arrived signed in the sleeve notes, the pleasure the old Brummie's album brought back.... Steve knows how to wind a rythmn, knows how to stir the soul and live in Hamburg, he does just that. Mixing classic Berry numbers with his own uninimitable dirges and rock n roll, he shivers into you, you cannot listen to this without tapping your feet and at venue volume, he vibrates through you with total warmth. Cheers Steve and the boys (especially Trevor), will now seek the rest of the back catalogue I have missing.....
