New sensation for your taste buds
Easy to put together, easy to use almost anywhere but we are making a removable liner for it that will cover the sides as well as the bottom so that the liner we make (from flat tin or corrugated iron or any old iron really) can be replaced as needed, so that the spit does not burn through too soon... food tastes fantastic cooked this way and is ideal for a large gathering as well as small.

Too low to the ground
Had to re-wire the motor after getting an electric shock. and also extended the legs as it was too close to the ground and ruined the concrete and then burnt the grass. A little small for a 18kg lamb so had to cut off the front legs but otherwise did a good job. Better suited to cuts of meat than a whole animal.

easy to use and assemble
it was easy to use cooked realy well. holding forks are a bit wide for smaller cuts such as chooks and small roasts but was able to secure to bar.

Not happy Jan!!!!
The product i received did not match the description advertised, it was smaller, totally different shape and some of the parts provided did not fit. They say it would carry a 40kg animal but the motor could barely turn the rod alone. After reading other feedback I found the power plug (travel adapter) supplied was faulty and not to australian standards. Don’t buy this product!!!
