The helmet was sold as "brand new" but the box had been defaced with marker pen, it appears that the box was originally a Medium and had been re-used for this Large helmet. The sizing sticker appears to have been peeled off something else and re-applied to the helmet as there were creases in the label and adhesive gunk present from the old sticker. The MIPS tags that should have been attached to the helmet were removed and the mouth vent slider has snapped off and was rattling around the box.

Hello, we are really sorry that there was a pen mark on the box. Not sure how the other things happened but all our helmets are brand new. We offered to replace the helmet and the box but you said you wanted to use the helmet that day so you did not want a replacement.
