Good kit to start with. Would have taken a lot of effort and expense to source parts and make a furnace like this. Important details not provided with the kit - temper crucible and rigidize and refractory coat insulation before use. Get proper crucible handling tools. Melting metal is high risk and very dangerous all round. Prepare, be very careful, do not skimp on PPE. Plenty of instructional material on YT. Some good, some rubbish. Anticipate anything that could go wrong and be ready.

tongs are very cheaply made and poor (had to modify), both heat bricks cracked in half on second use, lid leaks fire everywhere...not very good quality, will not last long
