Good kit to start with. Would have taken a lot of effort and expense to source parts and make a furnace like this. Important details not provided with the kit - temper crucible and rigidize and refractory coat insulation before use. Get proper crucible handling tools. Melting metal is high risk and very dangerous all round. Prepare, be very careful, do not skimp on PPE. Plenty of instructional material on YT. Some good, some rubbish. Anticipate anything that could go wrong and be ready.

There could be improvements on the burners, E.G. no collars to adjust air flow. There was 2 screws missing.. Overall it does do as it says. Crucible is HUGE !! More Refectory cement would be good, just enough to cover finely. I do wonder if it could reach the temp it says as I've only used it so far with cans (Aluminium). Plenty of room to do those adjustments though. Excellent time delivery.

Lid deformation with heat had to spread out with pliers to fit putting a wooden handle on a kiln not good idea lasted one day but it works
