Eye of the Beast....Micro Squid picture at the end, rest of the time a tentilcal once in a while.
No pros, just CONS: a lousy monster movie, all talk, with little or no monster. Cheaply made and shot in mostly poor light. They must not have been able to afford electricity. A lot of movies like this are shot in poor light and it is really aggravating. Also, they all must get their music from the same source to save money. It's an additional aggravation.. Lately, I've bought quite a few of these kind of videos, Not anymore! "I recommend you stay away from them" . DVW No pros, just CONS: a lousy monster movie, all talk, with little or no monster. Title was brief and to the point, yet told enough.
The stories were what you would expect for these low-budget films. Swamp Devil was a somewhat new idea and mildly entertaining. Eye of The Beast was predictable and nothing new (giant squid eats people,who in turn hunt it down). The Black Swarm idea sort of copied Killer Bees with a couple of twists and was easily the best of the three with Robert Englund. What can I say? It was hours of entertainment if you like that sort of thing (I do). I decided ot buy it because it was a three in one package and not available at our local store.The stories were what you would expect for these low-budget films. Good Three-Pack
Three pretty good films.Swamp Devil was actually outstanding. Bruce Dern always adds 50 percent to any film he is in though. Every actor in the film did an excellent job. I really enjoyed this one.
