Based on the animated television series, this Yu Yu Hakusho game takes the form of a traditional tactical RPG. Players control parties of up to five characters, who engage in turn-based squad combat on gridded, multi-tiered, isometric battlefields. The game is designed to appeal especially to fans of the anime. It features all the major characters from the television series, including 11 unlockable "legendary" characters, and the game's heroes and villains ply the same special attacks and supernatural powers that they use on TV. Two Tournament Tactics players can trade items or battle against one another thorough a link cable connection.

It was shipped in another box but it was tight fitting and in transit scrunched the original box. Shipping was pricey considering how long it took to arrive, likely a better rate could’ve been available. At first system said arrive by the 17th and it updated and took a few days extra to arrive. Seller was pretty good though would consider purchasing from them again.

    Amazing Tactics game

    This is a great game even if you never watched the anime, it's a great tactics game with very nice graphics and cool characters. That said, in order to full enjoyment I recommend watching the anime series, which is in my opinion one of the best anime series ever.

    Yu Yu Hakusho Tournament Tactics

    I play this game on my Nintendo DS Lite. I bought it because I love the Yu Yu Hakusho series and the characters. For a fan, this game does not disappoint. You end up with all of the main characters (except Botan and Keiko) as options to train and fight with. From the pool of options, each round lets you choose five fighters to compete. Some people don't like tactics games, but I feel that this one is really easy to grasp and laid back which makes it fun. You can repeat any of the levels as many times as you wish, and you can save at any point. Each level has your team at once position of a map while the monsters are scattered throughout. Your job is to move closer to the monsters each turn to get close enough to kill them before they kill you. You can only move a few squares per turn, but ...

    Pleasantly Surprised

    Yu Yu Hakusho: Tournament Tactics for the gameboy advance was a spontaneous buy for me. Typically, with anime-based video games, the production quality is very low. They count primarily on the name to carry the sales of the game. Fortunately for Yu Yu Hakusho: Tournament Tactics, this was not the case. If you love turn-based strategy games, you should definitely check this one out. It is one of the best, over-looked turn-based strategies for the GBA. Fans of Yu Yu Hakusho will also be pleasantly surprised as characters and plots seem true to the show as well. So bid bid bid and check it out!

    Good 'Ol Nostalgia

    Played this game a lot as kid. Made me so happy to play it again and relive those awesome memories of game play!
