    'Fear Itself' is a good and underrated TV series. It's only detriment is that it fails to live up to it's unofficial predecessor ('Masters of Horror') and is hamstrung by the censors of broadcast network TV. The DVD set would also benefit from some episode commentary (which it lacks) instead only having short episode "behind the scenes" features. I still would recommend it to fans of the show, and fans of horror anthologies.

    Bait and Switch

    I ordered this thinking I was getting the collector's edition, as pictured. But no! I got instead, a reissue with different art work and a much simpler case. I am/was disappointed.

    aka Masters of Horror Season 3

    When Mick Garris (Creator & driving force behind the series) left Masters of Horror, due to the writers strike, the series moved from Showtime to network tv and suffered due to the restrictions. Seasons 1 & 2 of the series featured some impressive horror content and was, for all intents and purposes R rated entertainment. Fear Itself had some decent episodes, but could not deliver what the fans of the original series had come to expect. Given the fact this Season contains 4 unaired episodes it's safe to assume that the series will not be returning.

    Terrifyingly fun

    Fantastic series, I remember it came out in the early 2000s and it was the most terrifying fun I remember watching as a kid. I had to have it. 👺🎃💀👻
